Pourtant, plus d&rsquo;une personne sur deux n&rsquo;est pas diagnostiqu\u00e9e et ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie pas d&rsquo;une prise en charge adapt\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans le milieu sportif, <strong>ces troubles restent encore largement m\u00e9connus<\/strong>, banalis\u00e9s ou masqu\u00e9s derri\u00e8re une apparente recherche de performance. Pourtant, ils sont particuli\u00e8rement fr\u00e9quents dans les sports d&rsquo;endurance.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En tant que di\u00e9t\u00e9ticienne du sport sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;accompagnement des troubles du comportement alimentaire, mais \u00e9galement ancienne anorexique, je souhaite profiter de cette semaine de sensibilisation pour aborder un sujet <strong>essentiel<\/strong> : la relation complexe entre sport, alimentation et sant\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le <strong>sport<\/strong> peut \u00eatre un formidable <strong>outil de reconstruction<\/strong>. Mais lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;accompagne de restriction alimentaire, d&rsquo;obsession du poids ou d&rsquo;un besoin excessif de contr\u00f4le, il peut aussi devenir un facteur aggravant.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comprendre les m\u00e9canismes des TCA est une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape pour mieux les pr\u00e9venir, les identifier et agir plus la sant\u00e9 physique, mentale et sociale.<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>L&rsquo;anorexie mentale<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L&rsquo;anorexie mentale se caract\u00e9rise par une <strong>restriction volontaire<\/strong> et <strong>durable<\/strong> des apports alimentaires entra\u00eenant une perte de poids importante.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elle s&rsquo;accompagne g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement :<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d&rsquo;une peur intense de prendre du poids ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d&rsquo;une image corporelle d\u00e9form\u00e9e ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d&rsquo;un besoin important de contr\u00f4le ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d&rsquo;une difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre la gravit\u00e9 de la situation.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malgr\u00e9 une apparence parfois valoris\u00e9e socialement, l&rsquo;anorexie est une maladie grave pouvant entra\u00eener des cons\u00e9quences cardiaques, hormonales, osseuses et psychologiques majeures.<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>La boulimie<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La boulimie se manifeste par des <strong>\u00e9pisodes de consommation alimentaire<\/strong> importante accompagn\u00e9s d&rsquo;une sensation de perte de contr\u00f4le.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ces <strong>crises<\/strong> sont souvent suivies de comportements <strong>compensatoires<\/strong> destin\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00e9viter la prise de poids :<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vomissements provoqu\u00e9s ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">je\u00fbnes ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">entra\u00eenement excessif ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">utilisation de laxatifs.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La souffrance psychologique est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement tr\u00e8s classifications psychiatriques actuelles, l&rsquo;orthorexie est de plus en plus observ\u00e9e dans le milieu sportif.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elle correspond \u00e0 u<strong>ne obsession de l&rsquo;alimentation consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme \u00ab\u00a0parfaite\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0saine\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0optimale<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Progressivement, les choix alimentaires deviennent une source d&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 permanente et la vie sociale peut \u00eatre impact\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Lorsque manger sainement devient une source de stress, il est important de se poser des fr\u00e9quents chez les sportifs<\/strong> que dans la population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selon les disciplines, la pr\u00e9valence peut atteindre :<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 <strong>19 %<\/strong> chez les hommes ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 <strong>45 %<\/strong> chez les femmes.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les sports d&rsquo;endurance font partie des disciplines les plus expos\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Pourquoi ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parce qu&rsquo;ils associent souvent plusieurs facteurs de risque.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Le poids comme facteur de performance<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En course \u00e0 pied, en trail, en triathlon ou en cyclisme, le rapport poids\/puissance est r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement mis en avant.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 physiologique peut parfois \u00eatre interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;extr\u00eame et conduire certains sportifs \u00e0 penser que plus ils seront l\u00e9gers, plus ils seront performants.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or, un corps insuffisamment nourri finit toujours par perdre en efficacit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Une image corporelle parfois id\u00e9alis\u00e9e<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, les m\u00e9dias et certaines repr\u00e9sentations de l&rsquo;athl\u00e8te d&rsquo;endurance entretiennent souvent l&rsquo;image d&rsquo;un sportif tr\u00e8s mince.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette comparaison permanente peut favoriser une insatisfaction corporelle chronique et pousser \u00e0 des comportements de restriction.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Le besoin de contr\u00f4le<\/b><\/h3><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compter les calories.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Peser les
